YANKEE Meadows!

Last Friday we went up to Yankee Meadows with the Webb's and the Pace's! It was so fun! We left Cedar at about 4:30ish. All six of us piled into Dallan's parents century buick! I wish I would have got a picture of that! The drive wasn't too long and it was a pretty drive. When we got there and the guys scoped out the area and decided where to go we unloaded everything and attempted to start a fire and also attempted to light the coals! We didn't bring any lighter fluid and the coals we happened to have didn't have any lighter fluid in them! It was so funny to watch the guys trying to figure out how to get it to light. Finally after some choice words and some really funny moments Maria was brave enough to go up to an old man's camp and ask him for some lighter fluid or something to help light our fire. The nice old man gave us some chain saw gas and it worked very nicely! We also didn't have matches just a lighter so Dallan almost got set on fire. He wouldn't admit that but we all saw! Anyway we got the fire and everything going and got a very good meal made in the dutch oven! I love dutch oven food!!!
We had a good time talking around the fire and just hanging out!
